Course Description and Objectives:

To ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft while also considering the need of the operator to continuously perform its business operations, regulators and manufacturers have agreed on a document called the Minimum Equipment List which allows the aircraft to continuously operate with inoperative systems and/or components.

At the end of this training course, the participant will successfully be able to:

• Understand the background and importance of the MEL
• Interpret the contents of the MEL
• Exercise the procedures and conditions required by the MEL in relation to the operations of the aircraft
