The module orients the participants on the different discipline or specialization of a Technical Services Engineer and its role in continuing airworthiness of the aircraft.

 

The participant will be familiarized in the Technical Services Engineer’s duties and responsibilities, Airworthiness Directives (AD) and Service Bulletins (SB) evaluation, preparation and contents of an Engineering Order, Aircraft Technical Publications, Aircraft Weight and Balance, damage evaluation, repair proposal preparation and comprehensive communication with the OEM.

 

At the end of this training course, the participant will successfully be able to:

 

  • Be familiarized and knowledgeable on the duties and responsibilities of a Technical Services Engineer.
  • Basic knowledge on the contents and purpose of Aircraft Technical Publications/Manuals
  • Basic knowledge on the Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins
  • Prepare an Engineering Order
  • Prepare an Aircraft Weight and Balance Report
  • Be familiarize on the basic repair principle in accordance with Structural Repair Manual
  • Be knowledgeable in proper comprehensive reporting to OEM.
